Brass Table Piston

A secret device used to activate or motivate any one of a number of conjuring tricks, this secret piston, operated by pulling a short cord, is mean to be installed in a magician's table where it is hidden from view. An uncommon device commonly used by conjurers of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, now difficult to find. Mild wear, else in very good condition.
