One-sheet stone lithograph poster depicting three motor bicycle racers (motorcycle riders) racing around a circular cage, held by a giant skeleton. Likely a precursor to the now-popular Globe of Death, a feature in many modern circuses, this poster, printed in 1923, bears an artist's depiction (the image is signed by Fred Burmann) of the dangerous feat of three motorcycles whizzing about in a tiny controlled environment, always nearly ready to crash in to each other. A rare poster, and unusual for the fact that the artist, Baumann, has signed the image. Near fine condition, linen backed. A.
