The magician ties a loose knot in the center of a length of white rope. Then he inserts his thumb into the knot loop and by pulling on it, the knot is disappearing magically from the rope and appears on the magician’s thumb. The effect is repeated. Another knot is tied in the rope. The magician sticks his middle finger into the knot, he pulls on it, and another knot appears on his finger. Now, with a stroke of the hand the rope changes into red! A knot is tied in the red rope. The magician pulls again on the knot, and a red knot appears in his hand next to the other white knots.
